The Field Boot pattern is dedicated to the long weekends spent outdoors. It has the feel of a vintage leather hunting boot, using the time-tested Goodyear-welt construction. Most importantly, leather components are used throughout the boot to create the foundation to withstand years of wear.
The shaft is slightly taller than our average boot, but the unlined shaft construction and padded collar offer a soft feel from the first wear.
While the pattern and robust materials create a strong base, the key is the full-fitting Floyd last. It prioritizes forefoot freedom, which is crucial for all-day comfort.

The Floyd last runs a half-size large. Our customers typically take our Floyd-lasted footwear a half-size down from their average sneakers size or the same size as their other Goodyear-welted footwear. However, if you have low volume feet, you may want to go a full size down.

The Floyd Last is a modified version of the Leo and shares many of the same features: a moderate arch, heel control, medial support, and forefront freedom. In contrast to its progeniture, the Floyd last features a taller, more voluminous toe box, providing a classic Americana workwear look.
